With what started as a rather stressful week receiving a call from the venue asking if we could postpone due to an unforeseen unchangeable situation, it soon turned into something quite special, with the last minute change of venue down the road from Horseheath to the old RAF Air ground at Weston Woods Farm, Weston Colville.
We kept the format of an out and back as that was what we were going to do at Horseheath, but this time it was so much flatter and on hard standing making a quick route aswell.
What made it even better was how well received it was by everyone who came along today, it was so good to see so many familiar faces and so many more new friendly faces to add to the Zig Zag Family.
We had a few firsts again today, starting with first ever running events, first ever 10ks, first Half, and First Marathons.
Happy Birthday to Gareth today and thank you to everyone for joining in with singing happy birthday to him too.
We loved seeing you all and we hope you enjoyed the day. Below you will find the race results from today and obviously a new set of course records.
Due to its popularity today we will see if we can get some more events at this wonderful venue and venture into the grounds even further making a whole loop, which means a new route and more opportunity for even more course records.
Once again thank you all for coming along today, don't forget to bring your friends along next time.
